MBX Dance Studio Membership Terms and Conditions (Updated 8 Feb 2026)

1. Membership Agreement
By enrolling as a member of MBX Dance Studio, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms may be updated at the discretion of MBX Dance Studio.

 

2. Membership Types

  • Monthly Membership – Grants access to unlimited classes for one month.

  • Annual Membership – Grants access to unlimited classes for one year.

 

3. Payment

  • Membership fees must be paid in advance via credit or debit card only.

  • Monthly memberships renew automatically on the same purchase date each month unless cancelled by the member.

  • Annual memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • If an annual membership is cancelled during the contract period, the member must settle 40% of the remaining balance.

4. Failed Payment & Deposit Policy (Yearly Pass)
If a Yearly Pass payment fails and the membership is cancelled after the grace period, the membership deposit will be automatically forfeited and is non-refundable.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Members must provide notice at least 30 days beforethe next billing cycle to cancel membership.

  • Refund requests for automatic renewals must be made within 24 hours of the renewal charge.

  • No membership benefits (class attendance, event access, etc.) may be used within that 24-hour window to qualify.

  • All approved refunds are subject to a 10% processing fee.

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method within 7–14 business days.

  • No refunds will be granted once a membership period has started unless otherwise specified.

  • Membership may be suspended or extended for medical reasons with valid documentation (Yearly Pass).

 

6. Class Scheduling & Attendance

  • Class schedules may change; members will be informed in advance.

  • Advance booking is encouraged due to limited class capacity.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Members must respect instructors, staff, and fellow dancers at all times.

  • Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour may result in termination without refund.

  • MBX Dance Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.

8. Health & Safety

  • Members must inform instructors of injuries or medical conditions before class.

  • Participation is voluntary and at the member’s own risk.

  • Proper dance attire and footwear are required.

​

9. Facility Use

  • Members must help maintain a clean and safe studio environment.

  • Any damage to studio property caused by a member must be compensated.

​

10. Photo & Video Release

  • By joining MBX Dance Studio, you grant permission for photos and videos taken during classes or events to be used for promotional purposes.

  • If you prefer not to appear, please notify staff in writing.

11. Liability Waiver

  • Members acknowledge that dance activities involve inherent physical risks.

  • MBX Dance Studio, its instructors, staff, and affiliates shall not be held liable for injuries, loss, or damages arising from participation.

12. Privacy Policy

  • MBX Dance Studio is committed to protecting your personal information.

  • Your data will not be shared with third parties without consent.

  • MBX Dance Studio reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
